Mindfuel

Mindfuel is a water brand enriched with vitamins proven to support mental health and brain function. This product’s messaging encourages us to be mindful by taking care of our bodies and our minds. The brand raises the question “How do you fill your cup?”

Project Overview

This hypothetical product design is partnered with an experiential campaign to spark conversation around Mental Health. Mindfuel is water brand that would collaborate with Syracuse University’s TEDx organization on campus. The speakers series, titled “Fill Your Cup” consists of different discussion events that focus on mental health at college. The events are sponsored by Mindfuel and therefore follow Mindfuel’s color palette, but exist as an extension of the current branding.

Roles: Research, event ideation, design, art direction, copywriting, brand development

Mindfuel is also made with vitamins that are proven to support mental health and cognitive function. However, while beneficial these vitamins are not the solution. The messaging and in-person experiences are intended to address the problem:

The messaging behind this brand is intended to bring students together by providing a community for the entire campus population. Navigating traditional mental health resources can be difficult with long wait times and high costs. This speaker series would bring in professionals and allow students to share their own experiences. Mindfuel’s goal is to make mental health conversations accessible for the entire campus population.

The Process

For my final capstone project, I decided to take my passion for design and create a branded experience. This speaker series is one that I would have loved to been a part of during my college career. The idea for Mindfuel came after deciding I wanted to design an in person event to support mental health. As a college student during pandemic years, mental health became a priority of mine just like many of my peers.

“In post-pandemic years 60% of college students have reported experiencing 1 or more mental health challenges”
